Greymouth Indoor Climbing Wall

The Greymouth Indoor Climbing Wall is facilitated by the West Coast Alpine Club. It has 25+ routes, ranging from Grade 12 to Grade 22, which are changed annually to bi-annually.

Costs

To climb on the wall, you need to be a member of the WCAC. See membership prices here. You can sign up on the night. **10th session free!

  • Student: $5

  • Gear hire (shoes & harnesses): $5
  • Annual pass: $100

Opening Hours

Tuesdays [top-rope sessions, per session charge with gear hire available]:

  • Youth (accompanied by an adult): 5:00-6:30pm – school term only
  • Adults: 6:30-8:30pm

Thursdays [experienced and signed off climbers with own gear]: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
